Our Team

Daniel Bryant is a CEO, entrepreneur, author, philanthropist, and Iron Man. A first generation American, Daniel received his BA in Government and Spanish from Dartmouth College, where he was a Rufus Choate Scholar and shortstop on the baseball team. He subsequently received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Daniel is the CEO of Bryant Capital Group, an Operating Partner with private equity firm Vistria Group, and a board member of The Mather Group, Flores Associates, JDP, VIST Labs, My Family Office, and Banrion.
After a successful twelve-year career in technology investment banking with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Robertson Stephens in New York, Chicago and San Francisco, and having worked for Sam Zell’s The Equity Group, Daniel founded Sheridan Road Financial, which ultimately grew to become the third ranked institutional investment consultancy in the country, according to Barron’s and the Wall Street Journal. After fourteen years as CEO and growing the firm to $24 billion in assets with ten offices across the country, the Company sold to Hub International, the fourth largest insurance brokerage firm in the world. Throughout his career, Daniel has been recognized for his investment banking and asset management work, receiving a multitude of awards and recognitions, as a 40 Under 40 Leader, Emerging Leaders Fellow with the Chicago Council of Global Affairs, as well as being recognized as one of the nation’s leading institutional investment consulting firms by Plan Sponsor, Institutional Investor, Pension & Investments, and Wealth Management Magazine, including being named the Investment Advisor of the Year by Plan Sponsor Magazine in 2014 and as a 2016 finalist for Philanthropist of the Year by the “Wealthies”, the industry-wide awards ceremony presented by Wealth Management Magazine.
Daniel has consulted with thousands of companies and has been a thought leader around financial wellness and financial technology to help drive better health, financial and life outcomes for individuals. Together with behavioral economist, Shlomo Benartzi, he has also been a leading voice around the democratization of alternative investments for asset managers and private equity firms. For more than a decade, Daniel has been a keynote speaker for investment management, retirement planning and benefit conferences across the country, as well as a lecturer at the University of Chicago and Vanderbilt University. He leveraged this expertise and access to leading CEOs to write the best-selling book, The Financial Wellness Mandate, which explores the rapidly expanding role financial wellness plays in managing businesses as well as employees.
Daniel is the Chair of The Sheridan Road Charitable Foundation, which helps improve financial, emotional and physical outcomes for those in under-resourced communities throughout the country. Daniel is a current or former Board member of the following civic organizations, including The Art Institute of Chicago, Frist Museum of Art, OZ Arts, Field Museum, Joffrey Ballet, Hopkins Center for the Arts, Dartmouth Club of Chicago, Commercial Club of Chicago, Economic Club of Chicago, Lake County Federation, and the Chicago Street Project.

Shlomo Benartzi is one of the foremost behavioral economists in the country, combining the insights of psychology and economics to solve big societal problems, creating digital nudges that leverage technology to achieve massive scale and help millions make better financial decisions. His work has demonstrated the potential for far-reaching improvement. Along with Nobel Laureate Richard Thaler of the University of Chicago, Professor Benartzi pioneered the Save More Tomorrow™ (SMarT) program, a behavioral prescription designed to nudge employees increase their savings rates gradually over time. In their original research, Thaler and Benartzi found that SMarT increased employee savings rates from 3.5 percent to 13.6 percent. The SMarT program is now offered by more than half of the large retirement plans in the U.S. and a growing number of plans in Australia and the U.K. The program has also been incorporated into the Pension Protection Act of 2006, enabling approximately 25 million Americans boost their retirement savings.
He received a BS from Tel Aviv University and a Ph.D. from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. Currently Benartzi is a professor emeritus and co-founder of the Behavioral Decision-Making Group at UCLA Anderson School of Management as well as a Distinguished Senior Fellow at the Wharton Behavior Change for Good Initiative.
To help bridge the gap between academic research and the real world, Benartzi worked with several financial institutions and served on multiple advisory boards and been a senior academic advisor to Acorns, Morningstar, Personal Capital, Voya, and others. He is an advisor to Athena, Wisdom Tree and additional fintech companies as well as the co-founder of PensionPlus, a start-up dedicated to providing a personalized retirement income plan for all Americans.

Peter has had an extensive 18-year career in the private capital, family office and financial technology sectors. Mr. Braxton’s expertise spans strategy, alternative investment opportunities, and support leveraging his extensive global network. He is a consultant and board member of several family offices and alternative investment firms, including SANTE, Trinity Investors, SouthWorth Capital Management, Akkad Holdings, Queens Court Capital, and Inoa Ventures. He is also an expert when it comes to curating outsourced family office services.
Prior to beginning his financial career at Credit Suisse, Peter was a U.S. Air Force Combat/Instructor Pilot for a decade.
Peter received his BS in Biology from the Air Force Academy and his MBA from the Washington University Olin School of Business.

Julie has spent a career in Client Services, Human Resources, and Chief of Staff functions across management consulting, wealth management, and for family offices. With over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, she has a broad skillset to be able to collaborate with strategic partners, private equity firms, UHNW clients and C-Level Management teams as the primary point of contact.

Tom Gladden co-founded Fairway Capital Management in 2019. Previously, Tom was an investor in venture capital and private equity funds at Adams Street Partners, a $60 billion global investment manager, for 14+ years. While at Adams Street, he evaluated 1,000 fund investment opportunities and invested in 95 venture capital and private equity funds, while sourcing and working on number of secondary transactions, including one of the firm’s largest VC secondary investments.
Prior to joining Adams Street Partners in 2002, Tom worked on the Private Capital and Real Estate team at Duke Management Company, which managed the assets of Duke University and the Duke University Hospital System. His other experience includes hospital consulting with APM, Inc. and managing a not-for-profit serving underprivileged children and teens in Chicago.
Tom has an A.B., Magna Cum Laude, from Dartmouth College and a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Chicago and is a Trustee at Roosevelt University of Chicago and a member of the Executive Committee of the Dartmouth Club of Chicago.

Julie’s passion for philanthropy began early in her career when she worked in nonprofits and venture philanthropy, gaining firsthand experience in fundraising, program development, and donor relations. Recognizing the need for a more personalized approach to family philanthropy, she founded JH Philanthropy in 2019 to offer bespoke advisory services that align with each family’s unique values and goals.
Under Julie’s leadership, JH Philanthropy has grown into a respected name in the industry, known for its commitment to nonprofit-centered philanthropy, ability to navigate complex family and board dynamics, and centering joy and impact through philanthropy. Julie’s expertise lies in creating customized giving plans, facilitating family governance and next-generation engagement, leadership development, and providing ongoing support to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of philanthropic efforts.
Before founding JH Philanthropy, Julie Hoffmann served as CEO of New Coast Foundation, where she maximized philanthropic investments to address poverty in Chicago. She was also a founding Managing Director and Head of Advancement at A Better Chicago, tripling the organization’s revenue in four years and launching a strategic plan to boost college graduation rates.
Julie led the Illinois chapter of America Needs You, enhancing economic mobility for first-generation college students. Her earlier roles include Director of Development and Communications for Cara Chicago, Consultant for Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance in Washington D.C., and Peace Corps volunteer in Ancash, Peru.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Julie is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and the National Center for Family Philanthropy and serves on several boards, including Hope Chicago, Noble Schools, and MOD Collective.

Keith is an expert in highly negotiated transactions whose professional experience spans mergers & acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, and corporate law. He has deep experience working with C-suite executives, business owners and board members to work through key transactions issues, structures, and outcomes. He is known for his sophisticated advice, refined people skills, enthusiastic engagement, and hands-on work.
Have personally negotiated, advised on, or invested in more than thirty transactions ranging from $10 million – $2.3 billion, including sell-side transactions, buy-side M&A, private equity, IPOs, recapitalizations, and strategic alliances. Keith has considerable experience with public companies, private equity firms and private, middle-market businesses. Have worked for clients in various industries, including technology, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, education, and consumer products.
Keith has held senior positions at Kingsman Capital, Merrill Lynch, Divine Interventures, and Banc of America Securities, all focusing on sourcing, negotiating and closing investments, as well as providing strategic advice on internal growth strategies and acquisition initiatives. Additionally, he has served on the Board for many private equity-backed companies. Previously, Keith practiced transactional law at Katten Muchin and is the author of First Son: The Biography of Richard M. Daley.
Keith received his BA from Carleton College, MBA from the University of Chicago, MPA at Harvard Kennedy School, and his JD at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.

Jonathan Reinsdorf is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with more than three decades of diverse experience spanning financial services, law, real estate, higher education, sports private equity, and technology. He has advised numerous companies, universities, and nonprofits on long-term strategy, operations, and growth, and has built software solutions to improve efficiency and sales performance.
Mr. Reinsdorf is the CEO of FroogalPay, LLC, a payments solutions company, and serves as Payment Specialist for DCI Solutions, a firm that helps organizations optimize costs and capture tax credit opportunities. He is also co-manager of companies with ownership interests exceeding $1 billion in the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox.
Beyond his business leadership, Jonathan is deeply engaged in civic and philanthropic endeavors. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the United Center Joint Venture, a trustee of the Noble Network of Charter Schools and YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, and an advisor to Zacoustic.
He holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a JD from Northwestern University School of Law, and a BSBA in Finance from the University of Arizona

Tom is an experienced advisor to families and businesses. He serves as Vice Chair of Colliers, the leading diversified professional services and investment management company in the real estate sector. He is responsible for growing the company’s tenant representation platform in the Midwest region while servicing and expanding the strategic national accounts practice group.
Tom has been exclusively representing office tenants in lease negotiations for 30 years. He is a skilled strategist providing in-depth analysis, negotiating expertise, and creative real estate solutions to his clients. When advising clients, Tom draws upon a broad range of real estate consulting experience along with his significant corporate board responsibilities and is active investment partnership expertise.
NAIOP has nominated Tom as a finalist for tenant office lease transaction of the year for completing the largest office lease tenant of the year. Since joining Colliers in 2011, Tom has been recognized among the top performers at Colliers achieving Everest Club each year. Tom has completed office tenant representation assignments totaling over 40 million square feet.
In addition to Tom’s long-standing career in commercial real estate, he has a broad range of business experience. Tom served on the board of directors for Midwestern Electric until the company sold in 2014. He previously served as Vice Chair of Cevaal Insurance until he sold his investment position as part of a corporate restructuring at the end of 2013. Tom served on the board of directors for Kansas State Bank until the bank sold at the end of 2011. Tom served on the executive management committee as a senior equity investor with The Winbury Group until the partnership sold to Colliers International at the end of 2010. He is the founder of Baden Capital. Tom serves on the board of directors for Lyon County State Bank. He serves on the board of directors for the Real Estate Investment Association (REIA). Tom serves as a market ambassador for Great Range Capital.
He is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago and The Chicago Club. Tom received his BA from the University of Kansas.
